Companies sometimes cut down large trees to make a profit.

회사들은 때로 이익을 내기 위해 큰 나무들을 베어낸다.

They don’t care that these trees are hundreds of years old.

But some people do care.

그러나 어떤 사람들은 정말로 관심을 가진다.

Julia Hill is one of these people.

When she was 23, she met some people in California.

They were trying to protect some ancient trees from a company.

She joined them and climbed up a 1,500-year-old redwood tree.

Hill named the tree “Luna.”

Amazingly, Hill stayed in the tree for more than two years!

Hill grew sick and stayed in a sleeping bag to keep warm, but never did she leave the tree.

Eventually, the company yielded and decided to leave the redwood trees alone.

Not only is the outside of the house inverted, but everything inside the house is also upside down.

집 밖이 거꾸로 되어 있을 뿐만 아니라, 집 안의 모든 것들도 역시 거꾸로 되어 있다.

Many visitors come to see this weird house.

많은 방문객들이 이 기이한 집을 보기 위해 온다.

One visitor said that she had a lot of fun while visiting the house.

한 방문객은 이 집을 방문하는 동안 아주 즐거웠다고 말했다.

Sofas, tables, and even a toilet are stuck to the floor, which is now the ceiling.

소파, 식탁, 그리고 심지어 변기도 바닥에 붙어있는데, 이것은 지금 천장이다.

It’s really awesome!

정말 굉장하다!

Another visitor said, “Walking around the upside-down house made me dizzy.”

또 다른 방문객은 “거꾸로 된 집을 걸어 다니는 것은 나를 어지럽게 만든다.”라고 말했다.

Thanks to this house, Fengjing has become a popular tourist destination in China.
