There were clear skies and temperatures over 30˚C that first week.

Then, all of us—the volunteers, community members, and the family—would start working.

그러고서 자원봉사자들과 지역 주민들, 집주인 가족들이 모두 일을 시작하였다.

We would share food and stories from time to time.

때로 먹을 것과 이야기들을 나누었다.

When evening came, we were all very tired and sweaty, but we were happy.

저녁이 되면 모두 지치고 땀투성이가 되었지만 행복했다.

After another week, the home was finally finished.

한 주가 더 지난 후, 집이 마침내 완성되었다.

On the last day, we had a party to celebrate the completion of the new house.

마지막 날, 우리는 새로운 집의 완성을 축하하기 위해 파티를 열었다.

It was the best way to end such an incredible experience.

The entire community was there.

Everyone was dancing or crying tears of joy.

I will never forget the looks on the faces of the family as they waved goodbye to us.
