Walter Mitty has developed the pictures used on the front cover of Life magazine for the past sixteen years.

Walter Mitty는 지난 16년간 Life지의 표지에 사용되는 사진들을 현상해왔다.

Other than that, he leads a boring life filled with daydreams.

그 일 말고는 몽상으로 가득 찬 지루한 일상을 보낸다.

However, his world is about to change: Life will soon become an online-only publication.

하지만 이제 막 그의 세상이 바뀔 참이다. Life지가 곧 온라인으로만 출간될 것이기 때문이다.

Unfortunately, the picture for the final cover is missing.

불행하게도 마지막 표지 사진이 없어진다.

Walter decides to hit the road to find the picture.

Walter는 사진을 찾으러 떠나기로 결심한다.

He believes the photographer still has it and follows his trail.

그는 사진작가가 아직 사진을 가지고 있다고 믿고 그의 자취를 따라가기로 한다.

This is how Walter’s wild dash across Greenland, Iceland, and the Himalayas begins.

During this adventure, he survives a volcanic eruption and a fall from a helicopter.

Although he finally finds the photographer, Walter realizes he has, more importantly, become the person he always imagined he could be.
