Many countries have started searching for better sources of energy.

많은 나라들은 더 나은 에너지원을 찾기 시작했습니다.

Wind power is one of the most attractive options.

풍력은 가장 매력적인 선택권 중 하나입니다.

Wind can be used to generate electricity with the help of wind turbines.

바람은 풍력 발전용 터빈의 도움으로 전기를 생산하는데 사용될 수 있습니다.

A wind turbine is a tall tower with large blades.

풍력 발전용 터빈은 거대한 날개 깃이 있는 큰 타워입니다.

When wind blows, the blades spin.

This turns a generator that makes electricity.

To create more electricity, many wind turbines may be built in one area.

These problems have led scientists to look for new solutions.

One possible solution is to move wind farms offshore.

Offshore wind farms are very productive since ocean winds are strong and steady.

Countries such as the UK, Germany, and China have already started producing energy from this type of wind power.

영국, 독일이나 중국 같은 나라들은 벌써 이러한 형태의 풍력으로부터 에너지를 생산하기 시작했습니다.

For example, the Walney Extension in the UK generates enough electricity to power 600,000 homes.
