Did you know that you’re probably smarter than your parents?

What’s more, new gadgets they’re using — such as smartphones — demand more abstract reasoning, which their parents often lack.

It seems that the increasing sophistication of modern life may stimulate a more complex mind.

There is, at the moment, no clear understanding of what exactly is boosting intelligence.

Although it is still uncertain, it is likely that all of these factors combine and interact to make each generation smarter than the last.

Perhaps we will need to wait a few generations to find individuals who are smart enough to work out this puzzle precisely!
