As a child, Chul-Ho Lee was separated from his family during the Korean War.

After being badly injured, he was sent to Norway to receive medical treatment.

After he recovered, he stayed in Norway, where he eventually became a king.

Instead, Lee became Norway's "Ramen King."

He started out working as a dishwasher at a hotel, but he soon learned how to cook.

After receiving a cooking license, he became a chef at a popular hotel.

In 1968, Lee returned to Korea for a visit.

While he was there, he tasted ramen for the first time.

He thought it was delicious, so he wanted to introduce it to Norwegians.

In 1989, he began importing ramen to Norway, but people found it too spicy for their taste.

So Lee began to experiment with different styles until he found a mild flavor that Norwegians enjoyed.

He used this flavor to create his own brand of ramen, known as Mr. Lee.
