In Romania, there is a surprising tourist attraction located 120 meters beneath the ground near the city of Turda.

루마니아에는 투르다 시 인근 지하 120미터에 위치한 놀라운 관광명소가 있다.

The place was once a large salt mine that was dug by the Romans long ago.

그 장소는 오래전에 로마인들이 파놓은 한때는 거대한 소금 광산이었던 곳이다.

Now, however, it has been turned into an underground museum and theme park!

그러나, 현재 그곳은 지하 박물관이자 테마파크로 바뀌었다!

Visitors can enter by taking an elevator or walking down a long tunnel.

The mine is about 12 degrees Celsius year round and the air's humidity remains at approximately 80%.

What's more, the air itself is very clean, with little dust or bacteria.

The bottom of the mine, which is covered by a layer of salt, offers visitors many fun things to do.

광산의 바닥은 소금층으로 덮여 있는데, 방문객들에게 할 수 있는 많은 재미있는 것들을 제공한다.

There is a sports arena, a Ferris wheel, a bowling alley and even a miniature golf course.

그곳에는 스포츠 경기장과 대회전 관람차, 볼링장, 그리고 미니 골프 코스까지 있다.

People can also check out the original mine equipment or rent a boat to take a tour of an underground lake.

사람들은 또한 초기의 광산 장비를 확인하거나 지하 호수를 관광하기 위해 배를 빌릴 수도 있다.

A South Korean tourist leaving the mine told us, "It's amazing. The mine looks like something from a fairytale."

광산을 떠나던 한 한국인 관광객은 우리에게 “놀라워요. 광산은 동화에 나오는 것처럼 보여요.”라고 말했다.

An interesting combination of old and new, the Turda salt mine is a great example of how places from the past can be brought back to life.
