You may have seen big mirrors before, but probably not as big as 10,582 km²!

That's how big Salar de Uyuni is.

그것은 우유니 소금사막의 크기이다.

It is the world's largest salt flat located in Bolivia, South America.

이곳은 남아메리카, 볼리비아에 위치한 세계 최대의 소금 평원이다.

There are 10 billion tons of salt in Salar de Uyuni, and the salt is more than 10 meters thick in the center.

우유니 소금사막에는 100억 톤의 소금이 있고, 그 중심부는 소금의 두께가 10미터가 넘는다.

During the dry season, Salar de Uyuni is completely dried up.

건기에 우유니 소금사막은 완전히 바싹 마른다.

During the wet season, in contrast, it is covered with a thin sheet of water.

반대로 우기에 이곳은 얇은 층의 물로 덮여 있다.

This creates a huge "mirror" that makes beautiful reflections.

At night you can see an amazing sight ― both the sky and the earth are full of beautiful stars!

It is difficult to tell how far away they are, or where the sky begins and ends.

Although these reflections are very beautiful, they are also confusing.
