I appreciate your offer of a secretarial position at Island Lake Exports.

Island Lake Exports

The benefits and salary are among the best I’ve seen anywhere.

However, as we discussed, the job would mean driving two hours a day to and from Island Lake.

After careful thought, I have decided to take a position as a secretary at Haywood Manufacturing here in Cincinnati.

Although this job is less attractive than the one with your firm, it’s much closer to my home and family.

I appreciate the time you spent with me.

I know there are many good candidates who can fill the position.
