The blue-footed booby is a seabird that is found in tropical and subtropical parts of the Pacific Ocean region.

푸른발얼가니새(blue-footed booby)는 태평양 지역의 열대와 아열대 지역에서 발견되는 바닷새다.

Its unusual name comes from the Spanish word bobo, which means “foolish.”

그것의 특이한 이름은 스페인어 ‘bobo’에서 비롯되었는데, 그 단어는 ‘어리석은’이라는 뜻이다.

It was given this name because it is clumsy when it walks on land and will approach humans without fear.

그것은 육지 위를 걸을 때 어설프고 인간들에게 겁 없이 다가가려 하기 때문에 이런 이름을 얻었다.

Females tend to be larger than males, with a wingspan of up to 1.5 meters.
