Hello, everyone!

안녕하세요, 여러분!

I’m Yuna, and I’m the leader of Warm Hearts, a club at our school.

저는 유나이고, 우리 학교 동아리인 Warm Hearts의 회장입니다.

Our club has solved some problems in our school and our community over the past few years.

우리 동아리는 지난 몇 년 동안 우리 학교와 지역 사회의 몇몇 문제들을 해결해 왔습니다.

I want to share our stories.

저는 우리의 이야기들을 공유하고 싶습니다.

One day, our school principal announced, “Our students often take too much food and waste it at lunchtime.

어느 날, 우리 교장 선생님께서 발표하셨습니다, “우리 학생들은 점심시간에 종종 너무 많은 음식을 가져가고 그것을 낭비합니다.

How can we reduce food waste?”

우리는 어떻게 하면 음식물 쓰레기를 줄일 수 있을까요?”

The members of Warm Hearts gathered to solve this problem.

Warm Hearts의 구성원들은 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 모였습니다.

We thought that adding lines to food trays would be helpful.

우리는 식판에 선을 추가하는 것이 도움이 될 것으로 생각했습니다.

Students could look at the lines and take the right amount of food.

학생들은 선을 보고 적당한 양의 음식을 가져갈 수 있습니다.

Our school principal liked this idea, so he changed the food trays in the cafeteria.

우리 교장 선생님께서 이 생각을 마음에 들어 하셨고, 그래서 그는 교내 식당의 식판을 바꾸셨습니다.

It was a success!

그것은 성공이었습니다!

The new trays reduced a large amount of food waste!

새 식판은 많은 양의 음식물 쓰레기를 줄여 주었습니다!

After we solved this problem at our school, we started to look for problems in our community.

우리는 학교에서 이 문제를 해결한 후에, 지역 사회에서 문제들을 찾기 시작했습니다.

We found out that some roads around our school were very dark at night.

우리는 학교 주변의 일부 도로들이 밤에 매우 어둡다는 것을 알게 되었습니다.

We all agreed that the roads needed more lights.

우리는 도로에 더 많은 조명이 필요하다는 것에 모두 동의했습니다.

With the help of a teacher, we put up lights with sensors around the neighborhood.

선생님의 도움으로, 우리는 동네 주변에 센서가 달린 조명을 붙였습니다.

Now all our neighbors feel safer than before!

이제 우리 이웃들 모두 전보다 더 안전하다고 느낍니다!

Have you ever used a digital kiosk before?

여러분은 전에 디지털 키오스크를 사용해 본 적이 있나요?

You may think it’s easy.

여러분은 그것이 쉽다고 생각할지도 모릅니다.

But some people have trouble using kiosks.

그러나 어떤 사람들은 키오스크를 사용하는 데 어려움을 겪습니다.

To help them, we volunteered as digital guides at the community center.

그들을 돕기 위해, 우리는 지역 주민 센터에서 디지털 안내원으로 자원봉사를 했습니다.

We explained every step of ordering:

우리는 주문의 모든 단계를 설명해 드렸습니다:

starting an order, choosing from the menu, and paying.

After the class, people said, “Now we feel more comfortable with kiosks.

We felt very proud.
