A long time ago, there was a fierce lion called Leo in ancient Greece.

오래전에, 고대 그리스에 Leo라고 불리는 사나운 사자가 있었어요.

Leo was huge and he attacked many people.

Leo는 거대했고 그는 많은 사람들을 공격했어요.

Some people tried to fight him.

어떤 사람들은 그와 싸우려 했어요.

But their swords couldn't pass through his strong skin.

그런데 그들의 검이 그의 단단한 가죽을 통과할 수 없었어요.

Finally, a goddess named Hera sent Hercules to kill Leo.

마침내, Hera라는 이름의 여신이 Leo를 죽이기 위해 Hercules를 보냈어요.

He was the strongest man in the world.

그는 세상에서 가장 강한 남자였어요.

But everyone thought Hercules would fail too.

그런데 모두가 Hercules도 또한 실패할 것이라고 생각했어요.

Hercules bravely walked into Leo's cave.

Hercules는 용감하게 Leo의 동굴로 걸어 들어갔어요.

He didn't even bring his sword.

그는 심지어 검도 가져가지 않았어요.

He only used his hands.

그는 오직 그의 손만 사용했어요.

When Hercules came back, he was wearing Leo's skin as a coat.

Hercules가 돌아왔을 때, 그는 Leo의 가죽을 코트처럼 걸치고 있었어요.

Zeus, the king of the gods and Hercules' father, wanted people to remember his son's brave act.

신들의 왕이자 Hercules의 아버지인 Zeus는 사람들이 아들의 용감한 행동을 기억하길 바랐어요.

He used the stars in the sky to make a picture of Leo.

그는 하늘의 별들을 이용해 Leo의 그림을 만들었어요.

Today, we can still see the group of stars known as Leo the Lion.

오늘날, 우리는 사자자리로 알려진 별자리를 여전히 볼 수 있어요.
