In countries like India and Thailand, there is a strange vehicle all over the roads.

It's not a car.

이것은 자동차도 아니에요.

It's not a motorcycle.

이것은 오토바이도 아니에요.

It's called a tuk-tuk.

People use tuk-tuks as taxis in these countries.

이 나라들에서 사람들은 툭툭을 택시로 이용해요.

Tuk-tuks have three wheels and a backseat for passengers.

툭툭은 바퀴가 세 개이고 승객을 위한 뒷좌석이 있어요.

They usually don't have any doors.

그것들은 보통 문이 없어요.

But they do have a roof.

그런데 지붕은 가지고 있어요.

Their funny name comes from the sound of their noisy engines.

Tuk-tuks are popular because they are cheaper than taxis.

툭툭은 택시보다 저렴하기 때문에 인기가 있어요.

Also, they can easily pass through traffic jams.

또한, 그것들은 교통 체증을 쉽게 통과할 수 있어요.

Tourists especially enjoy riding in them.

관광객들은 특히 그것들을 타는 것을 즐겨요.

Riding in a tuk-tuk is an interesting way to look around a new city.
