In paper books, the position of the text never changes.

However, on screens, we can quickly scroll through pages or change the font size.

But we can’t concentrate on the main reading material because of them.

Hypertexts cause us to jump from site to site.

Reading on screens may seem helpful, but it is actually not very useful for learning.
