Patty is worried about her new school.

She has no friends there.

She gets on the yellow school bus.

A girl greets Patty on the bus.

한 소녀가 버스에서 Patty에게 인사해요.

“You are new at our school, right?

"너 우리 학교 새 학생이지?

My name is Lisa.

내 이름은 Lisa야.

What’s your name?” asks Lisa.

"너 이름이 뭐니?" Lisa가 물어요.

“I’m Patty.

"나는 Patty야.

I’m in Miss Pine’s class,” says Patty.

나는 Pine 선생님 반이야," Patty가 말해요.

“Oh, I know her.

"오, 나 그녀를 알아.

She is very kind.

그녀는 아주 친절해.

You’re lucky,” Lisa says.

너는 운이 좋아," Lisa가 말해요.

She talks to Patty about Miss Pine and the school.

그녀는 Pine 선생님과 학교에 대해 Patty에게 이야기해요.

Now Patty has a new friend at her new school.

이제 Patty는 새 학교에 새 친구가 있어요.

Akna lives in a very cold place.

Akna는 아주 추운 곳에 살아요.

It is covered with snow and ice.

In winter, Akna’s family lives in an igloo.

There are few plants around Akna’s home.

So her father fishes and hunts sea animals.

Her mother makes clothes and boots with the animal skins.

Akna likes to ride her sled.

Her dogs pull the sled across the snow.

그녀의 개들이 눈을 가로질러 썰매를 끌어요.

It’s very cold, but she doesn’t stop playing in the snow.
