She talked to him. Then we called her other sons just for fun.

그녀는 그와 이야기했다. 그다음 우리는 오로지 재미로 그녀의 다른 아들들에게 전화를 걸었다.

Then we called my dad and he and she spoke for a while in Arabic and found out of course they had ten shared friends.

그러고 나서 우리는 나의 아버지에게 전화를 걸었고 아버지와 그녀가 한동안 아랍어로 이야기를 나누면서 그들에게는 당연히 10명의 공통된 친구가 있다는 것을 알게 되었다.

Then I thought just for the fun of it why not call some Palestinian poets I know and let them chat with her?

그러다가 나는 그냥 재미 삼아 내가 아는 팔레스타인 시인 몇 명에게 전화해서 그녀와 수다를 떨게 하면 어떨까 하는 생각이 들었다.
