A Snowy Day

눈 오는 날

It’s snowing.

눈이 오고 있어요.

Tom, Will, and Jodi look at snowflakes on their gloves.

Tom과 Will, Jodi는 그들의 장갑 위에 있는 눈송이를 보네요.

They use magnifying glasses.

그들은 돋보기를 이용해요.

“This snowflake looks like a flower,” Tom says.

“이 눈송이는 꽃처럼 생겼어”라고 Tom이 말해요.

“Mine looks like a spider web,” Will says.

“내 것은 거미줄처럼 생겼어”라고 Will이 말해요.

“Mine looks like the sun,” Jodi says.

“내 것은 태양처럼 생겼어”라고 Jodi가 말해요.

“The snowflakes have different shapes and sizes!” Tom says.

“눈송이들은 서로 다른 모양과 크기를 가지고 있어!”라고 Tom이 말해요.

But soon Will says, “Look! They all have six points!”

그러나 곧 Will이 “봐! 그것들은 모두 6개의 (뾰족한) 끝이 있어!”라고 말해요.

“Wow! You’re right!” Jodi says.

“우와! 네 말이 맞아!”라고 Jodi가 말해요.

“They’re also melting away really quickly!”

“그것들은 또한 정말 빨리 녹아 버리고 있어!”

Max, the Brave Cat

용감한 고양이 Max

One night, the Wilson family was sleeping.

어느 날 밤, Wilson 가족은 잠을 자고 있었어요.

Suddenly, their heater caught on fire!

갑자기, 그들의 히터에 불이 붙었어요!

Smoke spread through the house.

연기가 집 구석구석으로 퍼졌어요.

But the alarm didn’t go off!

The sleeping family was in big danger.

Luckily, they had their cat, Max.

Max saw the smoke.

He meowed loudly and woke everyone up.

They all escaped safely just in time.

Later, the Wilsons said, “Max saved our lives!”
