Humans, on the other hand, tend to behave more like the second frog from the story when it comes to climate change.

반면에, 인간은 기후 변화에 대해서는 이야기 속에 나오는 두 번째 개구리에 더 가깝게 행동하는 경향이 있다.

We seem perfectly happy to sit in the pot and slowly turn up the heat.

우리는 냄비 안에 앉아서 천천히 불을 높이는 것에 아주 만족해하는 것 같다.

Some even deny that it is our hand on the stove control that is making the temperature rise.

어떤 사람들은 심지어 온도를 올라가게 만들고 있는 것이 스토브 조절 장치를 잡은 우리의 손이라는 것을 부인한다.

While others admit that human activities such as burning fossil fuels are the cause of the rise, they still wonder, “Does it truly matter?”

한편 다른 사람들은 화석 연료 연소와 같은 인간 활동이 (온도) 상승의 원인이라는 것을 인정하면서도, 여전히 “그것이 정말로 중요한가?”라고 궁금해한다.
