Ilha da Queimada Grande is an island near the coast of Brazil.

케이마다 그란지는 브라질 해안 근처에 있는 섬이다.

It is also known as Snake Island.

This is because between 2,000 and 4,000 golden lancehead snakes live there.

According to stories, pirates brought them to the island to protect their treasure.

In reality, however, the island’s dense snake population is the result of evolution without human intervention.
