Universal design also ensures that an environment or product is accessible to everyone.

유니버설 디자인은 또한 환경이나 제품을 모든 사람이 이용하는 것을 보장한다.

Anyone should be able to use a design regardless of who they are and what they’re capable of, and no one should be excluded.

누구나 그들이 누구이고 무엇을 할 수 있는지에 관계없이 디자인된 것을 사용할 수 있어야 하며, 아무도 배제되어서는 안 된다.

Curb cuts are a good example.

커브 컷이 좋은 예이다.

Without curb cuts, people in wheelchairs would have a hard time navigating the city.

커브 컷이 없다면, 휠체어를 탄 사람들은 도시를 탐색하는 데 어려움을 겪을 것이다.

Curb cuts eliminate barriers not only for wheelchair users but also for people moving heavy loads or riding bikes.

커브 컷은 휠체어 사용자들뿐만 아니라 무거운 짐을 옮기거나 자전거를 타는 사람들에게도 장벽을 없애 준다.

Like curb cuts, automatic doors in public buildings also allow all people to enter without any major problems.

커브 컷과 마찬가지로, 공공건물의 자동문 또한 모든 사람들이 큰 문제 없이 출입할 수 있게 해준다.
