The Old Gentleman was thin and tall, and he was dressed all in black.

As this kind Old Gentleman came toward him, Stuffy wished he could fly away.

이 친절한 노신사가 그를 향해 올 때, Stuffy는 그가 날아가 버릴 수 있으면 좋겠다고 생각했다.

But he could not move from his seat.

하지만 그는 그의 자리에서 움직일 수 없었다.

“I am glad to see that the troubles of another year have not hurt you,” said the Old Gentleman.

That was what the Old Gentleman had said every Thanksgiving Day for nine years.
