According to experts, however, criminals think that clean and tidy houses are more difficult to steal from.

On the other hand, if your house has a broken window, thieves will think it is an easy target.

Clean and tidy houses make thieves think their owners take good care of them, so thieves avoid breaking into those houses.

On the other hand, if a house isn’t well taken care of, it will attract more thieves because they will think the owners are careless.

Giuliani ordered the police to clean all the subway cars and stations.
