Nobody likes to give up.

We are told again and again to just keep trying.

Unfortunately, people often don’t understand this.

They don’t want to lose all of the time, money, or effort they invested in their project.

This is known as the sunk-cost fallacy.

It is also sometimes called the Concorde fallacy.

The Concorde was an airplane built in the 1960s by France and Britain.

Although the plane was fast and beautiful, it was expensive and had many problems.
