One day, / Persephone was picking flowers / in a field.

어느 날, / Persephone는 꽃을 따고 있었다 / 들판에서.

Just then, / Hades appeared / from the underworld.

He fell in love with her / and took her / to his kingdom.

Demeter, / the goddess of the harvest, / was Persephone's mother.

She looked for her daughter / everywhere.

But she could not find her.

Demeter became very sad.
