Out of sight, out of mind: Something is easily forgotten if it is not near us.

눈에서 멀어지면, 마음에서도 멀어진다: 어떤 것이 우리 주변에 없으면 그것은 쉽게 잊혀진다.

I agree with this saying.

나는 이 말에 동의해.

I had a close friend from elementary school.

나는 초등학교 때부터 친한 친구가 있었어.

Sadly, we went to different middle schools.

아쉽게도 우리는 다른 중학교에 갔어.

At first, we met two to three times a week.

처음에 우리는 일주일에 두세 번 만났어.

However, it was hard to keep in touch.

그러나 계속 연락하는 것은 어려웠어.

We started to spend more time with our new friends.

우리는 우리의 새로운 친구들과 더 많은 시간을 보내기 시작했어.

I started thinking less and less about him and more and more about my new friends.

나는 그에 대해 점점 덜 생각하고 내 새로운 친구들에 대해 더욱더 많이 생각하기 시작했어.

Now, we have stopped talking or seeing each other.

이제 우리는 서로 이야기하거나 만나지 않아.
