My name is Richard Turere.

내 이름은 Richard Turere야.

I live in Kenya in the southern part of Nairobi National Park.

나는 케냐의 나이로비 국립 공원의 남쪽 지역에 살고 있어.

The southern part of the park does not have a fence, so wild animals like lions move out of the park freely.

공원의 남쪽 지역은 울타리가 없어서 사자와 같은 야생 동물들이 공원 밖으로 자유롭게 나가.

They kill the animals that farmers are raising.

그들은 농부들이 키우고 있는 동물들을 죽여.

As a result, farmers try to kill the lions because they want to protect their animals.

그 결과, 농부들은 그들의 동물들을 보호하기를 원하기 때문에 사자들을 죽이려고 해.

One morning, I woke up and saw our cow lying on the ground.

어느 날 아침, 나는 일어나서 우리 소가 바닥에 누워 있는 것을 보았어.

It was dead, and I felt so bad.

At first, I thought I couldn't do anything because I was only eleven.

Then I realized I shouldn't ignore the problem.

I really wanted to help the people in my town in the same situation.
