My Trip to Ganghwado

강화도로의 여행

Last weekend, / I took a day trip / to Ganghwado / with my family.

지난 주말, / 나는 당일 여행을 갔다 / 강화도로 / 가족과 함께.

Ganghwado is an island / with a rich history and beautiful nature.

강화도는 섬이다 / 풍부한 역사와 아름다운 자연을 가진.

초지진

Our first stop was Chojijin.

우리의 첫 번째 정류장은 초지진이었다.

In the 19th century, / Joseon had battles / against France, the U.S., and Japan / here.

19세기에, / 조선은 전투를 벌였다 / 프랑스, 미국, 일본을 상대로 / 이곳에서.

The cannon in the picture / is from the old days.

사진 속의 대포는 / 옛날 것이다.

There were even cannon ball marks / on the stone walls and trees.

대포알 자국도 있었다 / 돌담과 나무들에.

What a historic place it is!
