Meeting my Chinese host family

나의 중국 민박 가족 만나기

As soon as I arrived in Beijing, I met my host family.

베이징에 도착하자마자, 나는 나의 민박 가족을 만났다.

The family had a mother, father, and daughter.

가족구성원은 엄마, 아빠, 그리고 딸이다.

Wei, the daughter, was also my classmate.

딸, Wei는 또한 나의 학급친구이다.

Wei's family welcomed me with big smiles.

Wei의 가족은 환하게 미소 지으며 나를 환영해주었다.

Practicing Chinese before the trip paid off.

여행 전에 중국어를 연습한 것이 성공적이었다.

In Wei's room there were a lot of pictures of various Korean singers hung all over the walls.

Wei의 방에는 벽에 온통 걸려있는 다양한 한국 가수들의 많은 사진들이 있었다.

She told me that many of her friends were interested in Korean pop culture.

그녀는 그녀의 친구들 중 많은 수가 한국 대중 문화에 관심이 있다고 말했다.

On the one hand, I was so proud of Korean culture, but on the other hand, I felt bad that I did not know much about Chinese culture.

한편으로는 나는 한국문화가 정말 자랑스러웠지만, 다른 한편으로는 중국문화에 대해 많이 알지 못하는 것이 마음에 걸렸다.

Wei's parents cooked a delicious meal.

Wei의 부모님은 맛있는 식사를 요리하셨다.

Wei's family ate with long chopsticks and rarely used spoons while eating rice.

Wei의 가족은 긴 젓가락으로 식사를 했고 밥을 먹는 동안 숟가락을 거의 사용하지 않았다.
