세상을 똑바로 쳐다보라

The best and most beautiful things in the world can not be seen or even touched

세상에서 가장 아름답고 소중한 것은 보이거나 만져지지 않는다

단지 가슴으로만 느낄 수 있다

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep

숲은 아름답고, 어둡고, 깊었다

하지만 나는 지켜야할 약속이 있고

자기 전에 가야할 먼 길이 있다

I would listen more carefully to what my heart says

다른 사람들이 어떻게 생각하는지 신경쓰지 않았으리라

I would play more, fret less

더 많이 놀고 덜 초조했으리라

I would know that my beauty is in my love of life

진정한 아름다움은 자신의 인생을 사랑하는 데 있을을 알았으리라

I would enjoy the feeling of being in love and not worry so much about how it works out

사랑에 더 열중하고 그 결말에 대해서 덜 걱정했으리라

I wouldn't be afraid of acting like a kid

아이처럼 행동하는 것을 두려워하지 않았으리라

I would be braver

더 많은 용기를 가졌으리라

Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves

마음 속에 풀리지 않는 문제들에 대해 인내를 가지라. 문제 그자체를 사랑하라

Don't search for the questions, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them

정답을 찾지말라 그것은 지금 당장 주어질 수 없으니 지금은 그것을 살아낼 수 없다.

The point is to live everything

중요한 것은 모든 것을 살아보는 것이다

Live the questions now

지금 그 문제들을 겪어보라

Live out the confusions until they become clear

혼란스러움을 살아내라 그려면 명확해지리라

Never seek to tell your love

사랑을 말하려 하지 말지니

Love can never be told

사랑은 말로 할 수 없는 것이라

If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain

만일 내가 한 사람의 마음아픔을 막을 수 있다면 내 삶은 헛되지 않으리

만일 내가 한 생명의 아픔을 위로하고, 고통을 덜어주고, 지친 한 마리의 울새를 둥지에 올려준다면 내 삶은 헛되지 않으리

If you want to go fast, go alone

빨리가고 싶다면 혼자가라

멀리가고 싶다면 함께가라

I hear and I forget

들으면 잊어버린다

본 것은 기억한다

I do and I understand

해본 것은 이해한다

If it is right, it happens

만을 그것이 옳다면 그것은 이루어진다

The main thing is not to hurry

The dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow

어제의 꿈은 오늘의 희망이며 내일의 현실이다

A dream you dream alone is only a dream

혼자서 꾸는 꿈은 꿈으로 끝난다

A dream you dream together is reality

함께 꾸는 꿈은 현실이 된다

Behind the cloud is the sun still shining

구름뒤에서 여전히 태양은 빛나고 있다

Everything you need to make you happy is inside you

행복해지기 위해 필요한 모든 것은 바로 당신 안에 있다

If you can't fly then run

날 수 없다면 달려라

뛸 수 없다면 걸어라

희망은 볼수없는 것을 보고, 만질 수 없는 것을 만지고, 이룰수 없는 것을 이루게 해준다

I can not do everything, still I can do somthing. I will not refuse to do the something I can do.

내가 모든 것을 할 수 없지만 할수 있는 무언가가 있다. 그리고 나는 기꺼이 그 무언가를 할 것이다.

When one door of hapiness closes, another one opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.

행복의 문이 닫히면 또 다른 행복의 문이 열린다. 하지만 우리는 그 닫힌 문을 너무 오랫동아 바라보다가 또 다른 열린문을 자주 보지 못한다.

Always aim for achievement and forget about success.

항상 성취를 목적으로 삼고 성공에 대해서 잊어라.
